Gypsy #A318845 has found her forever family. She has a loving mom and dad and three children, that she adores. Gypsy is the perfect dog for children. Thank you Wallace family for adopting.

Lay;la’s story #A319847 started at Memphis Animal Services. Friends of the Memphis Animal Shelter networked her on Facebook, hoping a rescue or adopter would step up. Hearts of Gold Pit Rescue stepped up, rescued Layla from MAS, and placeed her in a loving foster home. Latyla’s foster family fell in love with her and decided to adopt her……And now Layla lives with her new forever family, the Skeltons, from Memphis, Tennessee. And that’s how we rescue.

So very thankful when such amazing families open their hearts and homes for our rescues. You are in excellent hands Bodhi! Here’s to living the life…more toys and live than you ever imagined.

Beauty traveled through Memphis on her way home from Oklahoma. She and dad drove to OK to pick up the helicopter. She said when dad gets her seat built, she will be flying with him. Stay tuned!

Yes I made lots of pictures. Beauty knew this morning that something very special was about to happen to her. Jay was so gentle with her. He had treats in his pocket so the first meet would go well. He brought a gallon of water. He was stunned at how beautiful she is and he said he purposely wanted a black dog because they don’t get adopted. These are the rescue moments that keep me going- to see the happiness in Beauty’s eyes as she proudly hopped in his Jeep! I love fostering, even after all these years. It fulfills me!

Lilly was set to be gassed in a shelter in Florence, Alabama. She was 4 months old. Hearts of Gold Pit rescue pulled her from the shelter and within a couple of months she got adopted to a local music professor and her husband. Lilly’s family moved to VA a couple of years ago but we keep in touch through pics. Lilly has two “skin” sisters now and they invite her to tea parties on a regular basis. Look at this sweet baby!!
